If you've been keeping up with the news recently, you'll know that coronavirus lockdown restrictions are finally starting to lift! As of the 29th of March, people across the UK have been able to meet in groups of 6 (from no more than two households) in gardens and other outdoor areas. This is great news for people who have been isolated from friends and family for the past year!
While we're now able to meet in groups of 6, there are still a number of COVID-19 precautions you and your guests should take to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Here are a few reminders:
- Limit the number of people you see
- Remain 2 metres apart at all times
- Wear a mask or visor
- Cover coughs and sneezes
- Clean and disinfect garden chairs, furniture and other surfaces
- Keep your hands clean
Getting your garden ready
If you're ready to start welcoming friends and family into your garden, we'd highly recommend spending a bit of time making it look its best. We've all had a lot on our minds over the past year, so it comes as no surprise that a lot of British gardens have been neglected. Don't worry, all hope is not lost, your garden can still be a wonderful place to entertain guests in 2021 if you're willing to give it some TLC.
While the warm weather is a sign that BBQs, sunbathing and garden parties are on the way, it also indicates that your lawn is about to enter its fastest-growing period. In order to sustain this rapid growth, you need to remove built-up moss and thatch, de-compact the soil, re-seed and provide a healthy dose of nutrients.
Here at Lawn and Weed Expert, we provide a comprehensive spring lawn care service that will help your lawn grow strong and healthy! What does our spring lawn care service include?
- Weed Control
- Moss Treatment
- Specialist Lawn Feed
We also offer a range of other lawn care treatments, that can help tackle problems like lawn disease, pests and patchiness. All of our lawn care services are available across South Wales and South West England, so if you're ready for a long-awaited garden party, let us help you bring your lawn back to life!
